We invite you, local residents and parents to get involved and join our management committee.
Slade Gardens is managed by a Board of Committee members / Trustees. These members are responsible for the vision of the organisation. They have the legal responsibility to ensure that we meet all our financial and charitable requirements.
Working together with the staff team the committee works closely to help to make Slade Gardens a better place for children's play. Currently, our committee members meet every 6-8 weeks.

We will provide our members with:
• Organisational and local issues.
• Up to date information on the playground such as trips and special events.
Staff, parents and the children and young people who use the Playground always have ideas about how to develop and improve the experience of being here. It could be for new play equipment both outdoor and indoor, for environmental improvements to the site, for trips to theme parks, the seaside, museums and all the places children and young people enjoy, but for whom these opportunities are difficult without the special support we can give, we always need more help.
We would also like to invite you to make a donation to help with our work. Parents, Friends, Residents, Businesses if you are interested in supporting our local charity whether in cash or kind, please do no hesitate to contact us.
