We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic play coordinator to join our team of staff in delivering inclusive after school and holiday provisions activities.
Salary: £12-14 p/hr Dependent on experience.
Term time: Wednesday-Friday 10.00am- 6.00pm Saturday
School Holidays: Monday- Friday 10.00am-6.00pm
Working hours include evening and
weekends to support afterschool and out of school provision. You may also be
required to work some Sundays for private parties.
Slade Gardens runs two main projects,
an Adventure Playground and an Under 5’s One O’Clock Club. In this role you
will be involved in the planning and delivery of sessions providing activities
which are playful, fun, and stimulating.
Suitable candidates will have a
minimum NVQ L3 in Play work or equivalent, experience of working with children
and young people in a play environment and an ability to engage children of all
ages in a range of play opportunities. The successful candidate will be provided
with professional training and development relevant to the post. The successful
candidate will receive continuous support and supervision from Trustees.
You will be required to have a DBS (criminal
records check) and to provide references. All applicants must send

Following a very successful day with QBE we have cleared the site ready for Urban Growth and our playworkers (Robin Murphy) to create a growing area which will not only assist in our on-going belief in improving children’s health throughout outdoor play and growing of fruit and veg but hopefully provide the raw materials for our future cafe sited in our new building.
We will be providing Free workshops for local people to learn about the natural world. We will also be offering lots of Volunteering opportunities for all ages from February so please get in touch if you would like to get involved.
